Hey Charlie,
I'd love to see your database. Do you have a gedcom online somewhere?
I'm not sure I can make a connection, but my Murphy family was around the
Nelson Co., KY area and one of the kids actually left home at early age and
traveled to California and ended up in Wash state. It all just seems too
familiar, so I really wanted to look at your material. I've always thought
the connection to Maryland was strong and thought perhaps my Murphys
originated there, alongwith other families that traveled
Shamefully I can't help anyone with James P. Murphy. The one I knew very
briefly at the beginning of 1950 was a Navy Officer in Hawaii. The only thing
I would swear to after 52 years are his children's nicknames.Oldest was son
Chuck age about 22, daughter Molly age 20 (think her given name was Mary
Margaret or Margaret Mary and she was dedicated to become a nun) and daughter
Pat at 17 0r 18. I am truly sorry I can't help but Ive been trying for almost
3 years and have totally bombed. bill teague

Murphy but can't seem to pin point the details.
Attended the FGS Conference in Ontario, CA in Aug.....hope to realign
some of my research goals with help of those interesting programs.

There is a new page on the Williamson County, IL website
which gives the day of the week on
which a certain date occurred. You can tell if Great Aunt Ethel was
born on a Monday. Was she "fair of face"?

If you have any suggestions for "gadgets" which you would like to see

I would appreciate additional info on Michael Francis Murphy b 1854 County
Kerry Ire. My grandfather, Daniel Murphy,b 1850 County Kerry Ire,Canuig

something snail mail for me to compare with my tree. I made a post for him
because my Murphys live in Kentucky, but one young man named Leslie left
home at 17 and moved to California and later settled in Washington. I
wanted to see if I could find a connection. Many thanks,
