I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WERE IS DANIEL CANADY BURIED AT? HE MARRIED FANNY CHASON. HE LIVED IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY N.CSOME OF HIS KIDS WERE NANCY, MARY MALTILDA, EVAN. HE WAS 60 IN 1860 CENSUS I THINK HE DIED BETWEEN 1860 1870.I CANT FIND HIM IN ANYMORE OF THE CENSUS.

I am looking for the grave site of Silas Focus Bolick. Bolick may also be spelled Bolch. He died November 7, 1962. His birth date was April 21, 1879.
I do not know what cemetery he is buried at.

In the March issue of Our State NC Magazine there was an article about the cemetery behind the lighthouse at Ocracoke. I have just returned from Ocracoke and viewed the cemetery from outside the fence which had a sign "No trespassing". Althought I was so tempted to go in and record the tombstone inscriptions, I didn't.

I'd contact the National Park Service since the island is owned by the
federal government. And you might want to contact the US Coast Guard since

I've done this in such situations, compiling and distributing
historical data means MORE to me than a sign, and when I have been
approached in such instances and you explain WHY you are doing such I
have NEVER b
If anyone is interested, I've just submitted 2 cemeteries I surveyed in
