In 1850 no family was indexed under Bucy in NC. I looked at everyone one
with the first name of George in Caswell County (32) and none had a last
name close to Bucy. There was only one George Bucy listed in the United
States and he was in Jefferson County Ohio. I have an index to all the
Southern states for the 1860 census and the name Bucy does not appear in
the index.
