I have these women in Wilkes CO NC in the 1860 census.
I also have a man who lives apart from these women.
I think if I could find the women in 1860 It might lead to the man
who I am seeking.
In 1850 .
census says they were born in NC.

Hi Carol-
Looks like he was living and working on a farm headed by William Enitt:
from Ancestry.com
Year: 1850; Census Place: Stump Sound, Onslow, North Carolina; Roll: M432_639; Page: 110; Image: 217.
He was 27 and a farmer, appears to have born in NC.
Hope this helps-
