If you have ancestry here is a family tree:

If you don't, it indicates that John(b 1785) and Susan

Listmembers, I hope this is not an inappropriate question to pose to this
list?
I have somehow acquired two sources of census information used to cite the
Duplin Co., NC Mortality Schedule of 1850, death of Sarah WEST.
Will someone please view these sources and tell me which is correct for the
source citation needed?
I apologize for my confusion.
Thank you.

Yes, I do have the 1860 for Cherokee Co. That is where I found that quite a
few of them were born in Madison County.
Will have to keep checking.
Thanks again

Bet,
Would there be a HELMS connected to your LAWRENCE family? I saw your
Helms-Wisdom signature and noted a HELMS living next to LAWRENCE in the
1900..
If so, I'll send that transcription as well.

Looking for the family of James and Polly BROWN in Madison County NC in 1850.
James was born about 1815 and Polly about 1819.
They should have had at least part of the following children with them:
Harrison b. abt 1842
John abt 1843
Rufina abt 1844
James or Jim abt 1845
and possibly David abt 1849
Thanks again to all the people who keep this list going with their lookup for those of us who are *census image poor*. LOL
I am looking for a Thomas BALLEW who would been somewhere around age 7 when the 1850 census was enumerated. I have no idea who his parents were and am hoping to find him in 1850 with them.
1880 census in Cherokee Co NC gives his age as 37.
Is it too much of an imposition to request names of any POWELL in Bedford
County 1790? If so, please excuse---
I am looking for Joseph POWELL and William POWELL.
Thanks for reading the post.
