Where can I find the marriage, births, deaths, and burials of the Friedens Church? I just found some names on some of the listings for the Church, and wondered if there is a place to check all of these?

Surname: Scherer, Rivers
I am seeking names of parents of John Rivers and Hannah Scherer (or Shearer),
who were married in 1816, at Friedens Church in Guilford Co., NC. John Rivers
was in the army during the war of 1812. Any information is welcomed.

I found a land record where a Joseph Hall bought land from a Mr. Dobbins arround
the same time that John Graff bought land from a Mr. Dobbins but nothing that is
conclusive. I cannot find a will or anything else on the old Halls. I do believe
that David Hall was a brother of Thomas. He had a son named Almond Hardy (sounds
like a candy bar) that later showed up near Thomas Hall in Tennessee. but
nothing conclusive. Then we really do not have any thing CONCLUSIVE... about
John Graff.

I'm responding because of your comment about "Thomas" not sounding German.
I may be wrong, but believe that Thomas is a fairly common German Christian
name.

Does anyone have access to NC 1870 census...not the index, who would look for Daniel and Mariah Hoffines Boon, who were m. Alamance Co. 1855? Suspect he and his family may be living with relatives, and not listed as head of household.
This census is the missing link I need to prove lineage to Johann Baltzar Boon, early member of Frieden's Church. Is there anyone on the list who can help locate this family in 1870? Has anyone proven the Boon/Boh

It's interesting to note that Thomas Appel arrived Sept 1749 on the same ship as Caspar Streader, the progenitor of the Friedens Streader/Streder/Strader lines. I'd be willing to bet there were other Friedens ancestors aboard the Ranier! (I note several Weitzel's, a Wagner, several Schmidts, and an Albrecht appear on the list.)
