I have a Godwin that I found in a census. He was married, I believe, for a short time to Sarah Jane Wilder, b.1872. They had a child, Sarah Elizabeth Ann Godwin, b.1893. I have information on several children from their child. She married William Jeff Faircloth, b.1889. If any of this information sounds useful, let me know. I have other connections through Sarah Jane Wilder, the first name mentioned. I am not as directly related to the Godwin's and don't even know the name of this first father.

Hello Group, I am looking for information on John P. Pruett, born ca. 1868 (going by information found in 1900 census which he is listed as being 32). He married Nancy Honeycutt. They had the following children: Julia 11 Ollie B 9 Rosa E 7 William H 5 Eliza 3 John F 2 His son John Franklin, born April 30, 1898 in Cabarrus County, NC; died Sept. 14, 1975 in Rowan County, NC.
