Morning, Folks - I need proof that James LeGrand (c.1740-1800--m. Elizabeth
Wade) is the father of Col. James LeGrand (1784/5-1844--m. Frances
Marshall). I always write their wives names to keep them straight. The
first James was born in Goochland Co. VA, moved to the Wadesboro, NC, area,
and died in Montgomery Co. NC. The second James was born in Halifax Co. NC,
served in the War of 1812, was a state legislator and died in Anson Co. NC.
He is said to be buried in East View Cemetery.

married Easter or Esther Honeycutt was buried? I know that
Easter/Esther and James were buried at the Old Freedom Cemetery.
