Looking for any help with Elizabeth Johnson. She was living in Buncombe Co. in 1816 as she gave birth to Jacob Stafford aka Jacob Tyson in June of that year. She was living in or near Asheville.
She had several illegitimate children, another being Henry Hampton, born probably around 1812-13.
According to an affidavit I have, she lived with several men, two of whom are men named possibly Thomas Smith and the other named Althouse.
Thanks for any tips or information provided!
