Hello I am trying to find my gggrandfather. James Fredarick Johnson, b. June 25, 1815 in Sweden, who came to Carteret Co. about 1850 with his brother John. James married a local girl from Smyrna, named Elizabeth Willis in April 24, 1860, at Morehead City. I believe that James Johnson was a "Seamen" on a Swedish ship and entered through the port of Bern.
