1. Re: HUGHES & PASCAL 1850 census [1]
The 1850 Caswell census has been transcribed and is on line at ftp.us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/nc/caswell/1850/ Did any of you Pascal come from Rockingham Co. and did any of them marry into the Allen family in Rockingham? I am interested because one of my ancestors Alfred Chance, who married Hannah Allen, was bondsman in Rockingham Co. in 1832 for the marriage of Elizabeth Allen to Ezkiel Pascal. I am trying to track down the parents and siblings of Hannah and suspect that Elizabeth was related.
2. HUGHES & PASCAL 1850 census [1]
16 December 2000 Does anyone have information of the HUGHES/HUGHS and PASCAL/PASCHAL/PASCHALL/PASKIL families on the 1850 Caswell County, NC, Census? I only have the index so I can't see the census information. I'm particularly interested in those who lived in close proximaty to one another. The index shows these families, I've placed them in census page number order: 182B Pascal 186B Pascal 201B Hughs 205A Paskil 210B Paschal 211A Hughs 226A Hughes 226B Hughes 247A Hughs 256
3. Hughes [1]
Does anyone have information about Hughes's of Caswell County. I'd be interested in informatin on any of them, but in particular I'm trying to see if I have a tie to my Hughes's of Alamance/Orange County pre 1850. Thanks for any help....
