I am trying to find information on the following names:
William Robert MYRICK b. ? m. Levy KIMBLE
Son of Montgomery MYRICK m. ? Purvis.
Walter ALBRIGHT m. Levy Bill ?
Son of Reddick ALBRIGHT and Betsy Ann BRANSON.
* I do not have any dates on these, and so far my research has been unsuccessful. These are
the parents of my Great Grandparents, William Alton Myrick (deceased) and Blanch Ola
Albright of Bennett, N.C.
I believe they all lived in Chatham County, however, some could have lived in Moo
GREEN, NEWSOM, RAGSDALE, HATLEY, EDWARDS
Looking for information on any of the following families of Chatham Co, NC,
Lonoke Co, AR, and Fannin Co. TX. All of these families were connected to
James GREEN, b. c1811 in North Carolina, died c 1883 in Lonoke Co, AR. His
wife was Nancy BLAND. Following his death, several members of his family
moved to Fannin Co., TX and lived in or near Honey Grove.
John W. GREEN, b. May 1855 in Arkansas. Married abt 1888 Rebecca NEWSOM, b.
Feb 1857 in AL. Children were Jo

This is a fantastic collection; only one major shortcoming; the photos of
soldiers are all from the Union Army; no Confederate soldier photos. And
all my ancestors, that I am aware of, were confederates!!

Barbara (Barbary) Ann Smith b. 15 June 1779 NC d. 21 April 1862 Morgan Co.
IN m. Peter Mc Daniel 19 March 1797. I can ID 11 children. I have
nothing on her siblings or ancestry.
There is reason to believe she could have been related to a Jacob and an
Elizabeth Smith located in Chatham Co. NC 1817 - 1825.
I have found census enumerations : 1820/30 Pittsboro dist.(?) Chatham Co.
NC, 1840/50/60 Morgan Co. IN.

Hi All: Could anyone tell me please if the Sanford Public Library near
Cumnock (now Lee County) has an email address? If not, could someone please
provide me with their phone number?
I realize that Cumnock was once part of Chatham Co. and became part of Lee
County around 1907. In the opinion of anyone who has done this kind of
research, where is the best place to do research on 1850's-1860's coal
mining operations around Egypt (Cumnock) - Lee County or Chatham County? I
imagine both counties could hold arc

I am searching for any information on Susannah MCMASTERS, b ca 1790-1800, daughter of Jonathan MCMASTERS b 1765 NC and Mary HOBSON b ca 1788 NC. Susannah MCMASTERS married Isaac MCCOLLUM b ca 1790-1800 NC on August 16, 1811 in Chatham Co, NC.
Isaac MCCOLLUM migrated to Perry Co, IL bet 1830-1840 with his wife and children. Isaac married a second time to a Nancy ??.
Isaac's first born (that I know of) is David MCCOLLUM. According to his tombstone in Du Quoin, Perry Co, IL, he was born April 14, 1812. My t
I would like know if someone has access to the 1910 Census. I am looking
for Nannie Mitchel age 12, Mahalia or Halia Mitchel age 54. In 1900, Nannie
Mitchell was living with William and Susan Patton, two doors down from her
mother, Mahalia Price Mitchell. I now need to find out where Nannie was in
1910. If you have access to that info and can pass it along, I would be
greatly appreciative.
I also had another question of the group. I am trying to find my great
grandfather, Fred Mitchell. He died around 1897

DeSoto Co. MS. Area. My family also went there from NC. (Chatham Co) I
have found George C Yates, son of William Yates and brother of Matthew
Tyson Yates the Baptist Missionary.
I have found George and his wife Tabatha Elizabeth Eavenson (2nd wife
m. in MS).buried in the Eavenson Family Cemetery in Tate Co. MS. (Tate
at one time was part of DeSoto)

my transcription. unfortunately, the libraries here in central Texas don't have
