Does anyone have any info on the Austin family that was on the 1790 census: Daniel Austin, Thomas Austin, Thomas Austin Jr., William Austin? also, does anyone know if the Currituck Co area was ever a part of VA and what year it became a part of NC? The boundry line between VA and NC was unclear until the early 1700s. It is not uncommon to find records in both Currituck County, NC and Lower Norfolk & Princess Anne Counties, VA.
