Christopher Friederick Hepler and Catherine Hertzel had a son Joseph Hepler
born in the 1790's. He was one of 15 children. I have no other information
on Joseph Hepler so I don't know if he is the one you are searching for. I
descend through his sister Maria Catherine Hepler b.1785 who married Jacob
MYERS.Thery came from Lehigh ,Pa and moved to Rowabn Co about 1787.
Christopher was the first Hepler and his family to settle in NC

I checked all my sources on this Frank Shoaf and I show no mention of another
name such as John or George. However, the birth dates do match up. Another
