Guy finished and posted up to Book 19 on Wayne Co tonight and Patty will
link soon as she has a minute. This is all for the time being until the
NCGSJ runs some more of them. There are 44+ of these books and am only on
Book 26. At this point it is taking about 20 hours per book to transcribe,
type, double check and then double check against the grantee book. Rather
slow going.

I am forwarding this from another list. I reckon you had better get your
requests in now to avoid the tripling (spelling?) of the price. The same
data you get now on pension records over 75 years old will rise to to 14.50
minimum (10 sheets with basic data) with a cap of 37.50 (everything in the
file) according to a price list I saw at NARA today. Paper copies (11x17)
will double in price, .50 from .25 per sheet.
Someone has to pay for the tax reductions and it looks like we have been
nominated!

Does anyone know anything about Martha Turnage 2nd wife of John Winders ,SR.?
They married 1799 in Duplin Co.,NC, on the 1800 census 3 males under 10,
1male +45, 3 females 0/10,2f 10/16, 1 f 26/45, so who are the children
listed??
Also on the Census for John (jr) it has 1male 0/10 2 males 16/26,1f 16/26,
all charts on John has him older than James and James is listed as 26/45, as
well as Edward son of John Sr on the 1810 NC census.
From looking at the census John Was not the oldest son .
