NC Duplin:
I am searching for information on LaFayette Smith & wife, Mary Dora Cauley and their parents, brothers & sisters & any other relatives. They had at least five children named Richard; Quincey Adams; LaFayette, Jr; and twins names Dora & Nora. Mary was born about 1859 and both of them are buried in Kinston. It is believed that LaFayette Smith, Sr. may have been born there and or at least owned property there. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Duplin,
Does anyone have ANY information on Smithie Brock was married to Gregory
Hall? She was probably born about 1815.
I would also appreciate any information on Gregory's first wife Mary if
any one has anything on her.
I have quite a bit of information on most of the 9 children of Gregory
and their descendants and would be happy to share.

Hi,
Is anyone out there researching the John BLANTON that is listed in the Duplin
County, NC 1784-1786 census record that was compiled by Jerome Tew?
He is listed as follows:
BLANTON John 1-7-4 Stallin's
BLANTON James 1-1-1 Stallin's
He could be a likely father for Joshua BLANTON, b. in 1760 as there is a John
that is listed as bond for Joshua's marriage to Mary ALDERMAN in 1787.
If he has 7 boys and 3 girls in 1784 then he was probably married for at
least 20 years, and Joshua was born 1760-1765 it
Does anyone know who the parents of Mikel Ezell, whose will was posted
in Duplin Co, NC in 1800, were? Was he born in VA?
Listed in his will are wife, Sarah, sons: Reuben, Benjamin, William,
Henry, George, and Frederick; Daughters: Mary, Elizabeth and Nancy.
I am trying to connect to his son Frederick, and can find no information
about him (Frederick) or the parents of Mikel.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Listmembers!
Any of you whose NC relatives/ancestors went to GA might be interested in
viewing the on-line 1850 Baker Co., GA census. Listed are _only_ those on
the census of 1850 who gave their birthplaces as NC.
www.usgennet.org/alhnncus/public_html/ganc8.html
On that same alhnncus site there is also the 1850 census of folks born NC
who were then living Thomas Co., GA.

I found the site I was searching for to find information on any soldier
in the CW, it gives a lot of information. I believe it is also the place
that I found the stories in about Elmira prison and how the prisoners
were treated. You can go to this site, and if you decide to join, give
them my name.

I sent the wrong address for the true stories of Elmira prison, this
site seems to make it look like a very nice place to be, but, I am
looking for the site that has true stories written by the prisoners
themselves.
I'll find that site and put it on for anyone who wants it.

Hi all this is a very long info sheet, but this is the hard work of Greham
Louer and he told me it was ok to send to the list, i think more than just a
few people should see what he has put together, and there is more that i will
be sending in from him. Most may have a lot of the info, but the way it is
put together is good.
Good luck to all
