1. [NCGRANVI] RE: Hester. Knott, Frazier [1]
Arthur Frazier, whose first wife was Elizabeth Knott, daughter of John and Mary Knott, went to Lincoln County, GA. Stephen Frazier, who I think (but have no proof) was the son of Ephraim Frazier went with him. Stephen married Jane ("Jincy"/"Jenny") Goodrum who was probably the sister of Arthur's second wife "Polly" Goodrum. Arthur and Stephen left Granville County about 1806-7. Barnett Frazier followed later, around 1814-15, and settled in Wilkes County, GA adjacent to and west of Lincoln County. An Ephraim

The information at: http://genforum.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/print.cgi?wicker::8.html says that Temperance Hester married Howell (Sowell) Frazier. In case there should be any confusion, she married Sowell Frazier, who was the son of William Frazier about 1783 and they later moved to Stokes County, NC.
