I think we have compared notes earlier (can't recall for sure).
My Carson line was in Orange/Caswell NC 1770s-1780s. James Carson seems to connect to a Moses Carson who witnesses James' son's David's will in 1798. David and William Carson both moved to Orange/Caswell 1770s, then they all moved to Washington TN 1780s

I read that one of the Confederate hospitals had an outstanding

be several after that before I have time to look it up. Anyone else

For years I've been trying to locate information (to no avail) on the Levin
Williams who was in Guilford Co by ca. 1800. I believe he was from Maryland
(Caroline Co/Dorchester Co) or Sussex Co, DE area. I think he may have had
a son, Samuel.
You may already have seen this:

Calvert and St. Mary's Counties Maryland, Revolutionary Patriots Listings,"
pg. 292:

Someone recently sent a listing for a Richard Beeson, born 1684 in Chester
Co., PA and died in Randolph Co., NC in 1795. Does this family connect to the
Richard Beeson that was born November 1797 in Randolph Co., North Carolina
who married Hannah Coaklin and he died March 17, 1872, (perhaps in Wayne Co.,
Illinois? or in Greene Co. IN?) He had a son, William L. Beeson who was born
in Indiana and was married to an Elizabeth Mary Waumock. Wondering if there
is a connection. Jerilyn
Yes! It's a great library -- I was there in August and found a treasure

I would like to have any info on Mary EDMISTON BROOKS and J.D. BROOKS.
Mary was born in Memphis, Shelby County, TN to Clifton Edmiston and Lizzie
Edmiston
I dont have any birthdates on Mary or J.D. but Mary was born about 1925.
J.D. was a Japanese American and work as a traffic controller at the Memphis
airport in the 1950's and may be later.
In 1990 I have an obituary on her brother and it says "a sister, Mary Brooks
of High Point, NC.
Thank you,

If you don't find it there try the High Point Library, they still have

There are over 3,500 Family History Centers around the world, set up to help
family historians. One does not need to belong to LDS church [Church of

Why should you use a center near your home? Because the Family

Yes, they do. I've been there and it's great! Had much much than I would
