I was looking at newly posted information for rootsweb yesterday and
noticed a couple of tax lists for Halifax that predate 1790. Do an
archive search.

I went to the Littleton library last week and found the list of people
buried in the Sunset Cemetery. Seems like there were a few requests about who was
there. I will try to post it to the site if someone will let me know how to

I am looking for any information on William T. Byrd (born 1859 in Rich
Square, NC.) He was married at least twice--first to Rosa Smith and
Second to Nellie Rawls. (Northampton County and Bertie County, NC.
E. L. Tillery and Mary Elizabeth Casper Tillery (I don't have exact
dates--they were my great-grandparents. Many of the Tilleries lived in
Halfax County, NC and some in Bertie County, NC. I am trying to find any
information about them, in particular the parents of E.L. Tiller

I am searching for HALIFAX CO NC early site of Thomas/William Shirley farm SHIRLEY FAMILY BURIALS 1820-1887????.-- Shirley farm in Enfield Scotland Neck NC area also nearby Martin Co. Some of possible names Thomas Shirley, Anne Shirley, Nancy Shirley, William Shirley, Drucilla Shirley, Charlotte Shirley, Eliza Shirley, William Ann McCandless, Mary McCandless, Robert McCandless.
William Shirley lived near Little Swamp, Alsobrook, White, Brantley lands.
