1. [NCHAYWOO] Quinlantown, Haywood Cnty, NC [1]
Today I ran across a record of an ancestor who lived at one time in the 1800's in a town in Haywood Cnty named Quinlantown. The record said the town is now under a resevoir. I just thought it might help someone out. Russell D. James Delta, Colorado neri@dmea.net Don't worry, we all link up at Adam and Eve.

Did I see someone searching for this person recently? This notice came out this morning in the Missing Links, just in case someone was looking for BATES... Happy Thanksgiving to all! Debbie Fowler - --------------------------------------------- I have a large Bible printed in 1799 with inscriptions about Elihu BATES (1772-1821) and family, apparently of New England. A few personal notes, pressed flowers, etc. are between the pages. A descendant of Elihu BATES can have it for the cost of shipping.
