it's okay.
If not, ya'll be patient -- I'll get back to you with the information.

I have adopted Bryson-L. I am a descendant of several Brysons who lived in
what is now Jackson county, North Carolina, as well as Upstate South Carolina and,
earlier, Pennsylvania and northern Ireland.
There are Bryson families throughout the U.S., Canada, and other former British colonies.
Mine are the ones I know the most about: this list is to share information about any
Brysons anywhere at any time.
I inherited most of my Bryson information from a third cousin who continued research

This is one of the documents I transcribed during my visit to the
Haywood County Courthouse last December.
This John Hood *may* be my ancestor John Hood (1750-p.1840),
whose daughter Elizabeth was the first wife of William Haynes:
their daughter Margaret was my great-grandfather Snyder's
grandmother.
>From my knowledge of Haywood County, this piece of property
was probably in either present-day Canton or present-day Clyde.

Hi all -- The subject of "genealogy scrapbooks" has come up on another
list that I'm on. It occured to me that my two cents worth to the Macon
Co. list might also prove helpful to others starting genealogy
scrapbooks. I'm sure some of you will get this several times, and
apologies for that -- I'm just doing my best to protect old photos,
letters, clippings, etc.
I started a genealogy scrapbook about six months ago, and did a good bit
of research, to be sure that the photos, documents, etc. would be

Two researchers following two almost identical John CUNNINGHAMs that
arrived in TN ca. 1820. They are seeking assistance in documenting
whether or not the two individuals in question or one in the same.
Herb Cunningham (herbc@ionet.net):
Has long had an impasse as to tracking down a great-great-grandfather,
John CUNNINGHAM. He and his entire family arrived in Marion Co., TN in
ca. 1822 from an unknown location. No researcher is known to have ever
determined the origin of this family prior to their arri
Hello,
I'm seeking information on David Odell b. 1811-13 near the Cocke Co TN and
Haywood Co. TN border. Possibly son of Benjamin and Mary (McKay) Odell.
He migrated to Indiana (poss. with uncle or cousin Odells) by 1832, and
married Agnes (Hilda) Arnett and raised a family. By 1850 he moved his
family to Crawford Co. Illinois. I'm trying to verify his parents. Anyone
with a reference to David Odell or esp. David W. Odell - I would love to
hear from you.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I thought I needed to tell everyone that my mail server is still having
problems. I do not receive the mail, can only send. This has been an
intermittent problem for the last two weeks, so if anyone has attempted to
reach me, you probably haven't. Just keep trying as some mail does make it.
I apologize that this is an ongoing problem, but it is out of my hands. They
tell me it is being fixed....
Sincerely,
Debbie Fowler
