Your Father must have been the only person in US with this info. I have researched these Montgomerys for a long time and none of the research I have found listed parents or siblings for John Montgomery. By the way, Sugar Creek NC is not a town Sugar (Sugaw) Creek is one of the seven orginial churches in Mecklenburg County, NC and is now in Charlotte. You pro. already know this but I thought I would throw it in.

I am writing regarding the query posted by Wm. M. Davis in 1999. I have written a response to his message, but his query was posted such a long time ago, I am thinking that he won't see it. If anyone out there knows Wm. M. Davis, would you please have him contact me? I believe that I have possible information to share regarding his Davis family. and am also interested in his 100 page history by Robert Lemuel Davis.
Thank you, Cathy at JuujarviT@aol.com

Marsha, I really, really hope to be in contact with you. I have a photograph too of Nancy Wallace McKinley - and my mother-in-law told me she, Nancy, had Indian blood. Unfortunately, I wasn't into genealogy then so did not follow up on it. I am interested in knowing if the photograph you have is the same one I have. Your posting was so long ago, I am fearful this won't reach you. Please contact me at
