Does anyone know if there is any way I can edit one of the articles which I submitted to the Old Mecklenburg County Heritage Book Project a few years ago when they had their original deadline? I have since discovered an error in that information which I would like to correct before the book is published.

Hi folks,
My wife works for the same company as John Misenheimer, Co-Chair of the
Heritage Book Project, and talked with him a couple of weeks ago. Word is
that the book was sent to the printer a month or so ago and he hoped it
would be out by the end of the year.
John's email is liberty1775@netzero.net . The Heritage Book webpage is
www.rootsweb.com/~ncomchs/
Sheila Weaver, Co-Chair, email is sheilaw@webkorner.com .
Any questions about the project should be directed to either John or Sheila.

Please post this query regarding the subject book which has been in process since 2002. Those of us who read this list are interested in knowing the status of it. I personally lost my email address for getting information about it when my computer crashed recently. Please, somebody, let us know when the books will be out. Thank you.

Hello, all.
At the risk of being considered a poor research person, I am asking for the following info.
What are the names of the parents of William Jefferson EADS?? His wife was Dora MARTIN, and in 1903, their daughter, Martha, was b. in Mecklenburg Co., NC.
Also, who were the parents of Dora MARTIN??
Martha married James Fred CHAPMAN, Sr., in ca, 1920, and they had several children. One son was James Fred, Jr., also known as Bill.

Sorry I don't know much about the Carrothers & Benson line. They
appear to have moved to Davidson Co TN where the Kerr family (Melinda
Benson's grandparent's generation) owned much land from a Rev War
Grant which there Kerr's from Mecklenburg and Rowan Co were closely
associated.

Hello,
I will be in Raleigh this Friday. Are the Archives and the Genealogy Section
of the State Library a good place to do research into the above family,
specifically the children of James Flenniken and Jane Gillispy Flenniken, who owned
lands in Mecklenburg County, near or on McCappins Creek in 1767? (Long
question) I am interested in a daughter, Elizabeth, who is said to have married a
Thomas Crago.
