Hello All, If you have not looked at this site yet,
http://www.rootsweb.com/~nccatawb/
and you're searching NC, you really ought to go look.....
especially go click on the left column where it says county formation and
take a
look at the great maps from 1700-1912 that Derick Hartshorn has put together
(thanks Derick).
This has been a huge help to me in trying to understand just where some of my
ancestors were from census to census. I wish all states had such maps
available on line.

Hello All, Is anyone out there reseraching the Ricks line? I am interested
in a man who was a doctor in Northampton Co (possibly in the Rich Square
area) about 1900-1903. He delivered the brother of my Grandfather who was
named Leonard Ricks Spivey in honor of the good doctor (according to my
Grandfather, Dr. Ricks may have moved to Fairmont, NC in the next decade).
I'd just love to know what his name was and a little bit about him.
Thanks so much,
Audrey

Dear Jennifer
I am interested in the Howell family in Northampton County. Esp. the names
Hardy Howell, Hopkin Howell, Joseph Howell, William Howell & Thomas Howell.
I would be interested in knowing if these names appear in the Hofmann book
index. Thanks.
Sam Howell

HI,
I was wondering if you have the census available for 1900-1955. If you
have those available please e-mail those to me. I was also wondering when
you do the census would that include a list of names that was available in
that household at that present time.
Thank you,
Telisha Lewis
