I think I did find your Elias Lee on Ancestry...at least he's from Craven County at that time. According to this Civil War record he enlisted in 1861 at the age of 35 which would put his birthdate at circa 1826. The 1860 census says he's 26 and Harriett is 10 years older at 36 and the 1
