You are very welcome.
I do send county files to anyone who asks. I do `look ups' by send the
county file as people always need more than one name, it also saves my eyes.
You can also fide the census data on USGenWeb and a

To all list members,
Please stick to genealogy and leave the missing children to the law
enforcement agencies. This is a hoax and has been reported as such to all
ROOTSWEB lists but several of you are still forwarding the messages. This
results in clogging the server and can easily clog or crash the ROOTSWEB
system. Then none of us would have the ability to pursue our heritage like we
are supposed to be doing here.
This is not a flame, just a fervent plea that we stick to the subject of

I can't answer as to whether North Carolina has a death index, but I do know
that they started issuing death certificates in 1913. Some counties kept
death records before 1913, but it was at their own discretion. Pender and
Duplin counties did not keep death records until 1913. I have two ancestors
who died in 1912....if they could've just held on a few more months...

Can anyone tell me what records are available
