I believe there is a Cox connection somewhere in my line but have not made
the connection, but, I live in Lorain County, Ohio and there was a Cox
family that lived here at least in the 1960's. I think I remember his name
was Alfred Cox and he was the Superintendent of Midview Schools in North
Eaton. My memory could have the name wrong.
Otherwise, I don't have any information.

Hi to All,
If you have an interest in the Evans and related families you may enjoy
viewing my Evans web page. Perhaps we could make a connection.
To view the site, which is in most search engines, please click on
WWW.GOOGLE.COM and type in EVANSPAGE. My site should be the first one listed.

Hello Everyone:
Thanks for providing this group!
I descend from a Stanton family who lived in Granville and surrounding
counties in the 1780's - 1800. My ancestor, Lewis Stanton, was one of four
children named in his father, John Stanton's 1784 will in Charlotte County,
VA. We know that he migrated to the Granville County area after his father's
death where there was a larger Stanton family. The following is information
about some of those Stantons:

Looking for information about Daniel Peterson. Born about 1790, I think. I am not sure if he lived in South or North Carolina.
Any help would be appreciated.

Contact the OBCGS on their website and ask for a volunteer to help you. I'm
a member and do trade volunteer hours for them here at the NC Archives, so
they shouldn't have a problem with being more than happy to help out.

you can ask for Deanne Gibson-Roles if they have questions. Refer her to me

I am looking for information on a James Ross Tomason, or Tomasson, Tumlinson(various spellings of last name). He married Mary Sunderland in 1853 at Carroll co. IN. His father is said to be from Ireland, but I do not know his name. A James Thomason, who was a farmer, was born in N.C., but I don't know what county. Some of the people living in the household were:
Mary, age 34, keeping house
Edward, age 17, born in IN
Malinda, age 16
George, 14, my great great grandfather
Charles, age 12
Elizabeth, age 10
I would be interested in the message that mentioned Bethania, NC because I have a Bethenia/Bethania BELL that was born in NC in
1824. I have been searching for her family, perhaps she was named for the town she was born in??
I looked in my Atlas but did not find a Bethania NC.
Could someone direct me to a source for that town's location?
Please and thank you
