http://www.rootsweb.com/~neobits/index.htm
Hi everyone! The NEGenWeb Project's Nebraska Obituary
Abstracts site has been updated with 4 new pages of
abstracts bringing a total of 268 pages online to
date.
We hope these will be helpful to you. Please keep in
mind that the search engine may not have all of these
pages searchable yet so you may want to check each of
the new pages for any names connected to you. We only
have abstracts from 2001-2003 with a minimal amount
from 2001. Nothing prior to 2001 are on this site.

Do you want to become a valuable contributor to free genealogy data on the
internet? The USGenWeb Project is always more than ready for new transcribers
for the county/state web sites. I personally manage a Nebraska and an Iowa
county site and rely on volunteers to help me get data online. I can't do it all by
myself and neither can other county coordinators.
If the county website where your research interests are doesn't have that
information online yet .... raise your hand and volunteer to help out!
The NEGenWeb Project - Nebraska Obituary Abstracts site has been updated with
274 pages now online.

The obituaries posted here are abstracts because these are recent. We do not
have any further information and suggest contacting the newspapers listed for
more information. If you have any old obituaries published before 1923, please
consider submitting them to the county coordinator that your obituaries
pertain to.
None of the abstracts on this site are any further back than 2001. Ol
