I am new to the list. Looking for information on Joseph Albert Newberry the
photographer.
I am a descendant of his great grandfather James Newberry who resided in
Pottawattamie and Mills Cos. IA.
Joseph A. Newberry b. in 1875 in IA. came to Holt Co. Nebraska in around 1884
with his parents Joseph and Mattie Newberry. He lived and had a photo shop
in Orchard, Antelope Co. and would journey to the surrounding towns and take
photos of people and scenes. He was an itinerant photographer an
