3. [NEBUFFAL] New on Buffalo County NEGenWeb [1]
Hi, It's exciting to realize all the new information that's available on the Buffalo Co NEGenWeb site because of photos and data that you all have submitted. If you have obituaries that are too recent to be copy-right free, you can extract the information or re-write it. OR, you can write it as a biography and have it posted on the Bio Page. There are some hints for writing a good bio at http://www.rootsweb.com/~nebuffal/biogrphy/tips.htm I finally got the submissions posted that arrived while I w

5. Re: [NEBUFFAL] HOLLOWAY-ADAMS-McFARLAND BEFORE 1900 [1]
Hi Kathryn, Have you searched the Buffalo Co NEGenWeb site? I found several references for McFarland and several pages for Adams. You might want to check with the Fort Kearny Genealogical Society at Box 22, Kearney, NE 68848 or contact Mardi at cottonmill@kearney.net. I would suggest that you give some more specifics about McFARLANDs, and especially ADAMS since there might be several other un-related families with the same surname. Good luck! 7. [NEBUFFAL] Search engine, etc. [1]
Hi, Thomas Risinger put up a search engine that will search most NEGenWeb Project pages. This will be especially helpful if you are not sure just where your ancestor lived. Try it out at: http://freepages.hobbies.rootsweb.com/~butterfield/ I added a link to it at the main page of the Buffalo County NEGenWeb site, too. Does anybody have any obits, bios, photos, etc., to submit to the Buffalo Co site? If you have your own family site, and it pertains to Buffalo County, I'd like to add a link to it.
