I am looking for any information on the family of Eli Cecil Beckner who
lived in Butler Co., as a school teacher. His wife Savanna died in
Lincoln in 1907 and buried in David City. The remaining family showed
up in the 1910 census in Lincoln, Lancaster Co. The 1900 census has
them in Butler Co., the 1920 census I found them in San Diego County
Calif. The 1910 census has Eli (entered as Elias) Santrillia (his
daughter) two grandchildren Carl and Alice Asquith (in San Diego their
name was spelled Blackmar

The Butler Co. NEGenWeb site has 70 individual web pages and may be overly
complex. If you think about these things, maybe you could advise me on some
example problems. Other comments are welcome also.
1. When you visit a county genealogy web site, would you prefer
(A) "TOWNS" or "COMMUNITIES" and then a reference related to the town.
(B) "REFERENCE" (like the 1890 Gazetteer) and then the town.
2. On a cemetery page, with tombstone photos, would you prefer
(A) name list first.
(B) photos first.

Seeking any information on USTOHAL, Joseph, born 13 Sept 1846/8 Domasov,
Ivancice, Brno, South Moravia, (Roman Catholic), married Frantiska
(Fannie) Ruzickova in 1870, immigrated to Linnwood, Butler Co., NE in
1880 (with spouse, mother-in-law, and several children), and died 2 Jun

in USA.
To the best of my knowledge, if this surname is in your family in the
USA, then you are a relative of mine!

Hi, Emmett, Hi Dave,
Thanks Dave for expressing my choices. How are things in MI?
Emmett,
I agree completely with Dave. One more thing. You know those teeny, tiny,
click on fonts? They provde a lot of available material right up front, but
these old eyes could use them one font size larger.
I think you are providing an excellent site.

The 1982 Butler County history has a small article on the Dobry family
written by Frank A. Dobry. Does anybody know who Frank Dobry is and how
to contact him? Or know somebody to contact who may know him? He does
not apparently live in Nebraska.
Thanks
