Thank you for the information. Sarah, his wife is buried at Forest Lawn. The information you found states that he is 57 years at death but he should be 66/67. The death date works due to the fact that he was alive for the 1880 U.S. Census but dead for the 1885 Nebraska State Census. Did you discover this information from a internet database? Have a feeling he is the one.
Thank you again,
Deane

I am lookinga for information about the Balford and Rachel Doherty
family. They were listed in the Waterloo Precinct starting in the 1900
Census. They had 5 girls: Emma, Eva, Bertha, Ruth, and Sarah. I
cannot find out anything about the girls or when and where Balford and
Rachel died and are buried.
I would appreciate any help.
Thank,
Jane

I don't know how many of you are interested in the progress of the Family
Search Indexing project, but Iowa 1900 is up and available for indexing. While
many Nebraskans aren't interested in the state, I know that many did have
ancestors who slipped across the river from Iowa at some point, as I have seen a
lot in the census listing as birth place, and several of the people I have
helped in Omaha recently had a lot of family come from Iowa.
If you haven't done the indexing and want to help: it i
