It is very kind of you, Doris, to offer to look up these biographies! Could you share the ones on William Harte (my gggrandfather from Ireland) and George Laney (my great grandfather)? I have the obituary of Elizabeth Lynch Harte and George "Bert" Laney, and photos of all, if anyone would be interested. I would be happy

Jo Lynn,
I live in Oregon and wanted to start taking pictures of grave markers here, but when I went to a local cemetery to ask for permission they said absolutely not. They mentioned privacy rights.
Please advise.

Hi Lori
I contacted all my local cemeteries and they said it was fine. They think
it's a great thing to get the youth involved. I think it all depends on the
state you live in. I know Oregon has many crazy privacy laws.
Thank you,
Jo

Hi! Could you please post the information you have on the "Bell" family? Cynthia Elizabeth Bell was my paternal grandmother. The family traveled, by covered wagon, from Wayne County KY to Beatrice NE in 1880. In 1883, they relocated to Stuart NE, and settled there permanently. They farmed south of Stuart.
