I am researching the MOOMEY surname.
Jacob Moomey was born around 1850 in Illinois. We have been told that he went
to Nebraska around 1889 to take his daughters to the diabetes center there in
Nebraska. It was suppose to be the best in the country at that time. I am not
sure if this center was in Nuckolus county or not. Has anyone heard of this
medical center in the county or in the state of Nebraska. If so, how long was
it in existance?
Thanks for any help.

I was told that my great grandfather took his daughters to Nebraska because
they had diabetes and this hospital was the best in the country for people
with diabetes. Has anyone ever heard of a hospital like this? We believe it
would be around 1883 to 1889. I would like to learn more about this hospital
and if there are any surviving records.
Thanks for the help
