THE TAYLOR TRAGEDY.
The following is a full account of the TAYLOR murder, with many
facts obtained since our last issue:
On Sunday, the 16th day of November, 1873, Mr. James TAYLOR went
to Mr. I. COLVIN's house and stopped over night, and on Monday morning,
the 17th, he went home. JONES was at TAYLOR's house, and that was the
day of the killing of James TAYLOR.

LOCAL ITEMS
FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS.--The Courier says: A recent search has
brought out some further development in connection with the killing of
Mr. TAYLOR, of Coal Bank. Sheriff BILLINGS found a Henry rifle over the
ceiling of the room occupied by JONES, in TAYLOR's house. This gun is
one that belonged to an Indian of the neighborhood, and was missed about
the time of the disappearance of TAYLOR. JO

PROBATE COURT.-- In probate court before Judge J. M. LOWE.
In the matter of the estate of David KINDRED and also Tabitha
KINDRED, deceased, the will of each of the testators brought into court
by Reuben CROWDER, the custodian, and the court petitioned by John R.
KINDRED for probate of the same, and the appointment of Reuben CROWDER
