Hi Morley,
I sent you an email but it autoreplied that your computer had crashed.
I would love any help you can give me. My "Luther line" is me (Pamela Dean), mom (Norma Ivany Dean), nan (Hazel Ivany Ivany), and Edith Gertrude Luther Ivany born May 1892 and married to Elam Ivany (of Thomas Ivany and Rosanna Cooper). I know that Gertrude had sisters, listed below. I found a few entries mostly from UC records but not really enough to start connecting families with any certainty.
Oh, and I found a handwri
I forgot to mention that this information was mainly copied from the prov. archives by myself and my daughter, using the NFLD Grand Banks website when things were unclear, and that I am in the process of double checking all the information. -Pam> From: pamela_m_dean@hotmail.com> To: nf-trinitybay@rootsweb.com> Date: Fri, 14 Dec 2007 20:03:43 -0500> Subject: Re: [NF-TRINITYBAY] ROYALE, RYALL OR REAL> > > The earliest recorded Royal in the Anglican records of Trinity Bay has a John Royal of Corten Denham, Som
I have just discovered from a distant relie in Wales that his GG Grandfather was born in Trinity Bay in around 1870. He has always spelt his name REAL, but now thinks he may have some relies in Trinity Bay. Just wondering is there are any other people searching this name and I could pass it on to Mervyn Real in Wales. Thanks
Esther in Victoria, B.C.
I am a relative of Luther's of Monroe/White Rock/ Waterville, Trinity Bay. I
have been researching my LUTHER FAMILY for 8+ years. I may be able to help.
We may be ' distant cousins".

I don't want to be first in line, but if you don't find anyone else before you put it up for adoption, please let me know, and I will be glad to take it on for awhile.

Not sure you have listed the correct William Norman who married Caroline Clouter. I have the William (1866), son of Thomas Norman and Rachel Courage, as the husband of Caroline.
Also, the DOB's of William and Susanna do not match their given age at death.
Hello, I don't know what you have so this may be old information for you:
Harbour Breton Death Records
Andrew Barnes, 37, Harbour Mille, drowned 1884.
Pools Cove Marriages
June 11, 1917 Randell Barnes - 23 Harbour Mille
Beatrice Holmans - Belleoram
These are the Barnes buried in Harbour Mille. If you want more information on how to get photos of the gravestones, let me know.

I'm hoping someone can help me out with a particular Luther family. My grandmother's mother died when nan was just a baby. Her mother's parents both died fairly young as well, so nan knows practically nothing about her mother or her mother's family. After 17 years of me asking, she finally remembered some things and pieced together some other things based on some information I had given her from other sources. Here is what I know (or think I know!):
Edith Gertrude Luther was born in May 1892 and grew up i

I guess this makes us '' distant cousins". I briefly checked my file last
night and I am related to Edith Luther and Elam Ivany.
My grandmother was SELINA LUTHER .
