After being off-line for much of the past 10 to 12 weeks I am now back
on-line. My (real) old system began having hardware problems so I'm
using a brand new system. My Web pages are back on-line (see the addresses
in my signature below). If anyone tried to send me email in the past two
to three months which was returned to them as undeliverable please resend
it.
Thanks.

I need to find out what church and denomination Eph. Sheppard was a minister
for in East Amwell (or nearby town). He performed several Lake marriages in
the 1850s. I would like to write the church to see if they have records.

Hi Bob, I'm very interested in Peter Philhower & Elisabeth Hartrum who
were married in Tewksbury twp. ca.1800.
I'm researching Hartrum/Hotrum and am curious to know if the above are
in your tree, and if you have any details about Elisabeth's ancestors or
siblings?

While going through some family letters, I found an order for the T.Y. Ward
Co. (dated 2nd Sept. 1920) for a 4'2" monument at the Fairmount Cemetery to
be erected June 1921.
The inscriptions to go on the grave (as written in the bill):
Marvin Page ( )
Margaret His wife ( )
Eugene ( )
Anna E. ( )
Adaline F. (Blank) [she was the purchaser]
BTW, total cost was a whopping $329.40

I'm trying to find any information I can on my grandparents and I'm hitting
a brick wall. They are Frederick August Schmidt who married Gertrude
Rhodes-Coans. I can't seem to find anything on either of them. My
grandmother died soon after giving birth in 1917 but I have no clue as to
where she was buried. My grandfather had a small farm at Sunnyside. I heard
he was buried in Clinton but I have no idea just where. Surely there is
something I am missing here. Any info on how to get passed this brick wall

One cemetery in Fairmount is around the Fairmount (First) Presbyterian
Church, Califon, NJ. You can find the address of this church at the
Presbyterian Church (USA) web page - www.pcusa.org - and search under
the Congregation Index. (But not using Fairmount as the search word, try
Califon.) The church has records about burials there, but I do not know
what resources they have for lookups.
There is also a "new" Fairmount cemetery, which is a community cemetery.

I'm researching all HOTRUM, HOTRAM, HARTRUM, HARDRAM, etc. as part of a

Conrad HOTRUM and his family moved from NJ to Ontario, Canada in 1793/4.

I believe that the original name was either HARTRANFT or HARTUNG.
