We had our annual Kitchin Family Reunion yesterday in Ringoes and had a great time despite the clouds. One of my uncles produced an old photo which had belonged to my grandmother, Viola Kitchin Moore. It showed a large crowd of folks dressed in their Sunday best. Gents with long whiskers, ladies in big hats, small boys with straw hats..... and at the bottom of the picture was a caption "1822 - Van Dolah Reunion - 1902". Clyde, We need more information to answer your question. First, the lowest governmental unit is the township, in your case Bethlehem. Perhaps you are looking for areas which are not governmental bodies. Second, we need time frame. At one time, Bethlehem Twp included most of the northern half on Hunterdon County. Mary, I have an Aaron Hart but he is born April 6 1836, died April 26 1909 marrried to Alice F Bowker bn Dec. 31 1845 died Feb 10 1914 they had one daughter Frances Hart Green. Hi Loretta, I recently returned from a research trip to NJ, specifically from the Hunt./Warren Co. areas. I can't answer to the specifics of your queries, but can tell you that at the Alexandria Pres. Church (formerly the German Reform Church of Alexandria) you have Pittenger, Vanderbelt ( &Vanderbilt), and Hoff (Huff). Hi All, Does anyone out there have access to New Jersey Federal Census records for 1850, 1860 1870 & 1880? I'm looking for a James Conner (the NJ State census for 1855 lists him with a middle initial of 'D').
