I was searching Andrew Jakle/Jackle/Yeagley of Fayette County, PA who has roots back to Hunterdon County, NJ and found this from Stewart Baldwin's site and correspondence: >Andrew Yeagley, of Amwell township, Hunterdon co., NJ. >Andrew Yeagley, d. 1832/3, Fayette co., PA, m. 5 Apr 1787, Hunterdon Co., NJ, Sarah Davis. 4. [NJHUNTER] 1860 Census Lookup [1]
I'm wondering if there is SKS out there with access to the 1860 Federal Census for NJ who would be willing to look-up the following: CONNER, William (age abt 49-53); wife Selenda or Salina (abt 1-2 years younger than William) They were both born in New Jersey. Children - Ann, Anderson, Augustus, Lambert, Sarah, Harriett. Residence; most likely Hunterdon County. It is possible that there may be two or three Williams in Hunterdon County during this time. To the best of my knowledge they are all related.
5. [NJHUNTER] SUBJOINED [1]
Dear Kay, "Subjoined" means to add at the end, as of something written; append. My interpretation of the document would translate to being a form of a cover letter from the Pastor requesting the Co. Clerk to record the "following" or "attached" (subjoined) marriage data. Francie

Potterstown is a little neighborhood west of Whitehouse and east of Lebanon and is located in Readington Township. If any of you have stopped to eat at the Spinning Wheel Diner on Route 22, it is in the Potterstown vicinity with Pottersville Road directly across the street. Hi Marshall, Thanks for responding. Yes, its possible that Zacharaih was Dutch I was hoping to get back one more generation before having to deal with Dutch naming patterns. Its also possible that he was Swedish since there were some early Swedes on the Delaware with the name Closon. I don't know anything about your John Closen, I don't think Zachariah had any sons but I don't know for sure. Its possible that your John was related to Zachariah's brother William, I don't know anything about his de
