Randy,
Many of the books contain some mistakes. I make it a habit to cross check
any information that I obtain from books or other sources. Chambers did
quite a good job on the families that I am researching. Believe me, over
half of my families were early Germans from that area.
Early Germans of N.J. may be obtained through Stemmons Pub. A few years back
it was approximately $22. This is a copy that has been reproduced and has
four pages on one. Some of these older books are much cheaper to ob

Hello Joann,
I to am looking for NJ Davenports. My interest is finding the parents,
siblings etc. of Sarah Davenport, m 15 Sept. 1832, Isaac Ogden Wooley. I
believe this would be either in Hunterdon , Morris or Sussex county. My
information indicates they had two daughters, Harriet Ann Wooley and
Margaret Marsh Wooley, b1835.
Would be interested in your line to see if there are any connections now or
in the future.

Thanks for taking the time to provide this reference and the write-up. Do you

They are the parents of George Wilson Smith who is the father of Cora
Elizabeth Smith, whose mother was Mary Ella Naylor of Woodsville. Cora
was born March 27, 1887.
Mary Ella died and Cora was raised by her
stepmother and father. Cora married William
C. Strasser in Sebring OH 8/01/1905. Laura
was born May 1, 1906.
Robert was a farmer and also had a son Robert.
Can anyone tell me where to look for Robert

Barri,
My 4g-grandfather & grandmother (Godfrey DILS/DILTS & Eleanor SWEAZY/SWEASY)
were married in the Kingwood Baptist Church in the late 1700's.
I would also be interested in hearing about the location of the cemetery.
Did you had to notice any DILS / DILTS / DILTZ stones in your recent
travels?

I have hit a brick wall with my great-grandfather, Charles REED. I know he
was born in 1814 in New Jersey, possibly Allentown. I have been unable to
connect him to any parents or siblings.
In the 1830 Census, I found a Charles REED in Hunterdon County, Lawrence

group, which would be right for my Charles.
Can anyone help me with suggestions on finding out more about the Charles
listed in the Census? All help is greatly ap

Christopher were married at the Zion Lutheran Church in Germantown (now
