Dear Marj, Dave and the List- I have been compiling a descendancy for all the Souders lines in Hunterdon and Warren Counties (as well as following those branches who moved into PA.) One son, Joshua Souders, married first a Mary Fishbough in Hunterdon County, ca. 1815, and second, an Anne Vanderbilt around 1827-1829 in Alexandria Twp (married by Rev. William Sloan). 18. [NJHUNTER] Jonathan 4 HIGGINS Will [1]
Hello Listers! Well, in my search for the parents of JOHN HIGGINS, it appears that, despite all the tantalizing clues, that he is not the son of Jonathan 4 HIGGINS (Jediah 3 Jedidiah 2 Richard 1) - since there is no mention of a son John in his will or codicil. Since I had to transcribe the full text so Mom would be able to read it, I thought I'd send a copy of the will, codicil and inventory out to you all, in case anyone else is interested. It includes the names of many of Jonathan 4's grandchildren.
