Greetings,
I've recently discovered a connection with a Juliana Britton thanks to the
efforts of a generous 'cousin'. Juliana was born in 1788 and died 1858 and
is buried at the 'Newell cemetery' (anyone know where that is?). I suspect
Juliana is a daughter of John Brittain and Hannah Opdyke but have no proof.
I did discover that their son Nathaniel Britton (1783-1867) named a daughter
Juliana which I believe has to be more than a coincidence. Any information
on the Britton/Brittain family of 18t

ELLICOTT, QUICK, SNYDER, WASSER, BURROUGHS, FISHER, CULBERTSON, MILLS,

Christiana STICKEL/STECKEL married William WHITMAN and produced six children
around the 1860s in the Upper Black Eddy / Nockamixon area of Bucks Co.,
Pennsylvania, USA. I don't know much more about Christiana, but it appears
that she was German or Dutch, while her husband was born in Pennsylvania and
died in 1
Hi Listers: I'm fairly new to this list and just began my Hunterdon County search, but I think I remember seeing a query about the Case family last week. I have a Case family on the 1905 NJ State Census. If you are still interested, please e-mail me and I'll pass on the census info.

The New Brunswick seminary in NJ is the oldest of the Dutch Reformed Church - the newer one is Western Theol. Sem. in Holland, MI (the old Dutch church is now called the Reformed Church in America (RCA). The German Reformed seminary is in Lancaster PA I remember. Most of the German Ref. churches merged and became Evangelical & Reformed then merged again with the Congregational Church to become the United Ch. of CHrist.
The German Reformed (called the Reformed Church in the US) still exists but mostly in th

As you all probably noticed this message has nothing to with William Case.
But then again, neither have the previous 4 messages that have been attached
to this header.
Could we all PLEASE remember to change the subject line.

Can anyone give me more info on the Rutgers Library collection? I am having
trouble figuring out what collection it is and which library it is in as
there appear to be several. I have been to their web site but that did not
help. Also where exactly are the good research locations in Trenton? I'm
headed up tomorrow to see what I can find.

In response to some recent queries:
The Genconnect boards are down for maintenance. One of the main components
needed rebuilt and they are backing up all data and it is unknown exactly
when they will be back online.
This means that the "Boards" - Query, Obit, Will,Deed,
Pension and Bible will NOT work!

Hi,
You can find some information on the Newell Family Burying Grounds at
the Hunterdon County GenWeb Site:
http://members.aol.com/njysprez/cemetery.htm
In addition to the information there, Newell Cemetery is on Foothill
Road in the westernmost section of Readington Township
This cemetery was invertoried by the Genealogical Society of New Jersey
and if you can get to the Rutgers Alexander Library you can find who is
buried there.
