Hi Listers: I'm new to the list. I recently found out that we had ancesters living in Flemington (late 1800's through 1920) Edward and Ann/Anna? Farmer, Children were James E. and Louisa C. Farmer. There is one thing in your favor after the NJ Archives closes at 4 p.m.: all
the cemeteries of Hunterdon County are open. Bring boots because the snow in
many of them is up to 8 inches deep. Also the NJ State Library, a few
buildings from the NJ Archives on East State St, has much material on Mercer
County. I think they are open on Saturdays.

gathering place for reunions, etc. I don't remember exactly when it closed
down, but it was still operating in some capacity at least through the 40's.
