Very interesting lot of Civil War letters on eBay from Grant Ollinger of Frenchtown to his wife Elizabeth. I have no personal interest in this auction.

Bill, wondered what the "test" was all about then realized I have not been
getting much if any NJHunter-L mail either, as Richard just wrote about. Not
sure why I received his mail, however. I am also on AOL. Hope this gets
resolved so we can stay "in the loop." Thanks for anything Richard, you or
anyone else can do to help.

Hello all
Just subscribed, happy to be here. More of my ancestors than I can
count are probably right here in Hunterdon -- much to my surprise. What
I heard about my relatives is one thing, what I have found is that many
many many of them were in Hunterdon and later Mercer County for hundreds
of years -- more or less. I am related to Wyckoffs, Reeds, Reeds again
(cousins marrying), Leigh, Burch, Whitehead, Stout and more. LOTs of
folks who all seem to be here.
So hello all, glad to meet all cous

A short time ago there was some good information regarding copyrighting compiled information. Does anyone remember if there was a specific link to go to?

Hi Phyllis,
Welcome to the list. You mentioned the STOUT surname. I would be interested
in comparing notes on this line. I go back to my husband's 11th great
grandparents (though not all of it is documented). Perhaps we have a connection &/or
can help each other.
Hope to hear from you soon,

Thank you, Bill.
Mine is getting out, but AOL is not sending NJHunter-L mail to me.
AOL was told Rootsweb was adding new IP #'s, gave them the new IP #'s and
AOL has failed to add them.
I'm pretty sure if you had forwarded your message back to NJHunter-L I
wouldn't have rec'd it.

Phyllis,
Just thought this might be of interest to you. I had a neighbor near me that
said she was a Wyckoff from NJ. The topic came up when I mentioned my sister
Kathleen Magura lived in Wyckoff for 40 years before moving to Brick, NJ.
They left AZ. six months ago to live in PA. I do think she has a brother in
NJ somewhere.
Their names are Bill and Kathleen Jordan. When in NJ they lived in Cherry
Hill that had a very expensive country club where they golfed. Don't know
much else but sometimes these
I would like to find out who was the father of the three
Sergeant/Sargeant brothers who were the founders of Sergeantsville in
Hunterdon County. I think the brothers were Charles, Joseph and Jonathan.
I am wondering if they had a sister named Hannah, born about 1766. She
married Andrew Husselton before 1786, probably in Sussex County.
