In checking the LDS web site I found a family group record that showed him born abt 1823 in Neshanic, NJ and married to Mary Catherine STRYKER 13 Nov 1847, place unknown. Does anyone connect with Jacob Swallow who wrote a will dated 1760's in Amwell Township, Hunterdon Co, NJ? I have searched for years trying to find parents for my Revolutionary WAr soldier, Andrew Swallow, and wonder if this Jacob could be his father? My Andrew named his first son Jacob. Andrew stated on his pension application that he was born in Berks co, Pa 17 April 1760. He died in Overton Co, TN in 1837. Dear Alice & Hunterdon listers--- I had posted the "where is..." query to three lists and got so many answers that I really didn't pay attention to whether or not they came through as posts to the list or directly to me.
