Greetings,
I've just completed a review of the 1870 Federal Census for Hunterdon County in an unsuccessful attempt to find my GGG grandmother Ella Hummer (1864-1925). While reviewing the census, I've also made note of all Alpaughs, Dilleys, and Hummers listed. I'd be happy to share this information with any interested researchers.
Regards,
Rick Novak

Rick,
Have you seen a book entitled "Facts and Fantasies of Franklin"

The list of Hunterdon County records you've listed over the past week is
a tremendous contribution. Is there a way they can be permanently posted
to the Hunterdon genweb page?
Thanks,
Marilyn

Anyone out there researching theses names? I am related to a B.K. (Benj.)
Hoppock. Born in Warren Co. in late 1849/early 1850. Father was Thomas
Hoppock, born abt. 1822, married Catherine ? On the 1850 Census, they are
living in Greenwich Twp., Warren Co. I believe Thomas then moves to Raritan
Twp., Hunterdon Co.
Benj. K had quite a few siblings: William (b. abt. 1845) Peter (b.abt. 1848)
Joseph (b. abt. 1852). In 1880, he is living in Raritan, Som. Co. NJ.
Anyone here sound familiar?

Following, are notes I have made over the years on the location of the
Church Records for Hunterdon County.
My apologies if it is confusing, it was not done with the intent to publish
it. -- dbnf.

Great job compiling the list. I had asked when I was visiting in June and
was told they didn't have and couldn't make a list because holdings were
constantly changing. This list will be a great help on my next visit. Thanks
again.

Anybody have anything on this surname? My ancestor Eunice Manners
married Henry Cray in 1857 or so. There is some thought that her
earlier children were illegitimate by him. They were from the East
Amwell area, but may have moved to Frenchtown.

I have updated the Hunterdon County USGenWeb site,
http://members.aol.com/njysprez/index.htm
to include a listing of cemeteries in Hunterdon County.
The list contains the name, location (township), address, references
to published sources, both hard copy and online.
This listing has been compiled from a number of sources including
many postings to this list. I went through the various postings
and added any information about cemeteries to this list of cemeteries.
Thanks to all who posted information.
