1. [NJHUNTER] HILLS in Clover Hill Cemetery [1]
Many months ago someone asked about HILLS buried in Clover Hill Cemetery. There are at least two that I know of. Russell Everett Hill, Jr. d. 10-20-1979 and his father Russell Everett Hill d. 1975. Dear List members, I am happy at the response to my offer to do lookups in The Kingwood Cookbook. But it seems as though AOL has been playing games with me again. I belong to another eGroup and I know that I did not get some of the mail that went through that group yesterday. So if someone on this list sent me an email yesterday that I have not acknowledged, try again. I probably did not get it. I have also sent out all the look-ups which I promised, so if you did not get yours, let m

Hi Everyone, Kate Young said, "To the group, and M.F. Pickell in particular..... I almost unsubscribed because my Kennedy, Vroom & Schaeffer families were never mentioned in the Hunterdon families."....... This troubles me! It implies if you don't find an immediate response to a posting or do not find your surnames listed that you should unsubscribe. Nothing could be further from the truth. Tracing one's ancestors is frequently a frustrating task with long periods of failure. That doesn't mean you should

Eleanor, or anyone else who might know; I have all 3 of these names (Fox, Case, and Huff) in my family line and I would like to know if anyone knows why these families all moved to Northumberland, PA, and then again to Butler Co., Ohio after that? What were the reasons for the moves? I find it interesting that they all moved together, and they eventually all became related to each other through marriage. If anyone has any clues I would love to hear them. Thank you. Trina ----- Original Message ----- F

I'm looking for any information on John M. Hutchinson and his family. I have John born Abt. 1810 in NJ and married Rebecca HANSELL 19 Oct 1834 in Hunterdon Co. We know his occupation was shoemaker before he and Rebecca came to Illinois about 1841. They had children William Henry, Virginia, James Llewellyn, Emma, and Anna May. Marshall, The Cummins' History of Warren County does have an index, but it's not complete. I've found several family names that weren't in the index. If there's someone you want me to keep an eye out for, just let me know. I got a copy at the Warren County Historical Society, and I'm reading sections at a time. If you have a specific area in mind, include that...that will corerce me to read that section! ;-) Regards, Wendy A. Heitzman Researching HEITZ(S)MAN, HENRY, CREVELING, BIGLAR, TIETSWORTH, AN

23. Re: [NJHUNTER] Smith's of Hunterdon [0.984293]
Carly, Pleasant Run is southwest of Readington and northeast of Stanton. Both of these communities in Readington Township have a Reformed church. Since 1842 is 6 years before the start of recording birth records in NJ, I would suggest looking at baptismal records for those two churches to locate the missing parents. Microfilm copies are available through the LDS local history centers. The Readington Reformed Baptisms from 1720 were published in the Somerset Co Historical quarterlies, but end, unfortunat
