I didn't see the query but the Hainsburg I discovered is about 7 miles west
of Blairstown, NJ where my LANTZ - LANCE family lived circa 1750 - and where
many are buried.
I would like anyone with knowledge of this family to please contact me as I
am looking to living relations.

I would like to get together some people to do an every-name index for
"History of Warren County New Jersey" by George Wyckoff Cummins in 1911.
The index included with the book contains only the bio subjects. I have
searched high and low and have never found an every-name index for this
book. If anyone else has seen one please let me know.
If you would like to volunteer your time and energy in doing this index
drop me a line at . It's not a necessity to have access
to a copy of the book

I sent out a 2nd message. Let me know if you have any problems with the
steps that I gave on how to find a particular mailing list. I think I
put in all the steps but I might have forgotten a step or two. You
should be able to find any list that you are looking for; if it exists.
If it does not; then you
Hi to everyone in Hunterdon (and environs), NJ
I am coming home for a very brief visit in early August (6 to 12). The
main objective is to attend a family reunion which is held every 5
years.
I may have some very limited time to do some research and would like to
inquire of anyone connected with the Hunterdon County Historical Society
or the Hopewell Museum of the possibility of making an appointment to do
some research outside of the facilities normal operating hours.
On this trip I will be concentrati
Just wanted to let everyone know that these surname email lists are
available. Some only have a handful of subscribers. I am a descendant of
most of these and the listowner of all.
Lets wait about 48 hours to give people a chance to sign up and then
begin a roll call on all these lists.
Also, if anyone would like to become the listowner of any of these lists
please let me know. I would be willing to transfer any list to another
but McClennen, Ackerman and Hennion.
I will apologize in advance if this post
Good afternoon from Seattle,
As some on the list know I am researching Hans Peter, later known as JOHN
PETER LANTZ.
There are number of items I have not been able to verify and write the list

aboard the Bilander Thistle Oct of 1738 with his two brothers, children and at
least one woman. The identity of the woman / women is not noted in either

Looking for records of St. John the Evangelist cemetery. I just wrote to the parish, but I know that LDS has them on film and wondered if anybody had the info out there.

Does anyone know if the FHL has the Locktown Baptist Church Minutes on
microfilm? Or are the minutes in book form?
I can't seem to find a listing (which is normal for me :>) searching the
Hunterdon Co "church records" but
http://www.njchurchscape.com/Locktown-Bapt.html
says the records are extant from1742.
Also does anyone know what flavor of Baptist this early chruch was? 1st Day
Baptists or 7th Day Baptist?
Many thanks, Mike Miller

I note that a branch of the STRYKER family was closely associated with my
KRUSEN ancestors of Bethlehem Township, Hunterdon Co., NJ and Greenwood,
Steuben Co., NY. A STRYKER witnessed Richard KRUSEN's will so I am
wondering if there was any kinship between the two families. Richard
KRUSEN's mother is unknown but other information on his New Jersey & New
Netherland ancestry is available in...
