GARRISON/GARRETSEN John; Warren Co., NJ,USA; 1750-1850
I am seeking all genealogical and biographical details for the
KRUSEN/GARRISON family documented below. Specifically, who were
the ancestors of Jane (GARRISON) KRUSEN? Was John GARRISON her
father? If so, what was his ancestry? It seems probable that John
was descended from a Dutch GARRETSEN/GARRISON family of New
Netherlands. Please reply directly to:

Hi James,
Sorry, but it appears that your Davis' were leaving Hunterdon Co just about
the time mine were arriving from Wales. Many of my other ancestors go back to
the early part of the 18th century in Hunterdon Co but the Davis' are relative
newcomers. Good luck with you search.
Best wishes,

Hi James,
I've got some Hunterdon/Somerset/Morris Davis' for you. My Davis' start with
Silvanus Davies (Davis) who emigrated to the US from Wales in about 1801. His
son John Davis (1810-1889) married Ruth Pickle. Their son James K Davis
(1847-1926) married Elizabeth Crater. Their daughter Anna Davis (c1882-1964)
married Hervey Frost. Their daughter was Saida Frost who was my grandmother.
I believe the Davis' lived in or near Bernardsville although I'm not sure. Do
any of these sound familiar?

I'm searching for information on the third wife of Morris E Alpaugh
(1823-1878) who was my gg grandfather. Their gravestone calls her Catherine
Mahala Lawrence (Lion), 1825-1907. The book of Hunterdon County marriages
lists her as Catherine Lawrence. They were married in 1855, possibly at the
Reformed Church in Lebanon. I belive that Catherine's parents may have been
Charles Lyon (1786-1825) and Ann Ruloffsen (1791-1863). If so, then her
father died at about the time of her birth. Ann rema
