I am new to this list.
I am interested in corresponding with someone about info (or
possible sources of info) on James and John Fonner. They were both
listed in the Reading militia of Hunterdon Co., NJ as of Nov 30,
1792.
James maybe the husband of Altia Newell Fonner, but I am not sure. I
have no information on John Fonner.
I have additional information about the Fonners and their
intermarriages with Cooks,Newells,Dilts and Hummers I am willing to
share.

These are my Hackett ancestors, taken from the 1850 census for Bethlehem
Township, Hunterdon Co.
(My ancestor, Asa LaRue, was married to Rachel Hackett in 1838.)

This family seems to be the one included in Charles Carroll Gardner's
"Miscellaneous" Allens, reprinted in Genealogies of N.J. Families,
Vol. 2 page 209 (Geneal. Pub. Co., 1996). Gardner shows 9 children of
this couple, including those you list, with more details.
I would be happy to send you that data, including what he has on
William's probable ancestry, if you wish.
I am also interested in how you may connect to the family, as I
have some Allens in my database in later generations, who inter
David STOUT b. c1778 in Kingwood Twp., Hunterdon Co., New Jersey, son of
Jacob STOUT (c1738-1808) and Deborah HUFF. It was probably he who married
"Miss Robins" in 1798 at Kingwood Baptist Church, Hunterdon Co. He married
Hannah FOSTER on 30 Jul 1809 in Hunterdon Co. Was this the David STOUT who
was cited for delinquent property taxes in Mansfield Twp., Sussex Co., in
1815? Indirect evidence suggests that David was the father of Jacob STOUT
b. 16 Aug 1801. Jacob is buried in an unmarked grave in Jonestown H
In 1892 a pamphlet was issued by H.E. Deats, Publisher, Flemington, N.J.
which was No. 2 in the 'Hunterdon Historical Series'. It was titled "The
Two Colonels John Taylor." and it concerns Col. John Taylor of Middlesex
who was born 1 August 1751 and served in the Second Middlesex regiment. He
married Jeannette Fitz-Randolph. They had three children, Augustus, John,
and Mary.
The other man concerned is Col. John Taylor of Hunterdon who was born in
Bath, England, date unknown, who served in the Fourth

Henry Lake born about 1790.
His son was Aaron Lake, born about 1830. His children were: Sarah L.,
Bloomfield, Masala (also called Mercy), Nicholas, Adam, William, Sadie.
Bloomfield married Anne E. Brady. Their daughter, Mary Elizabeth was my

I'm looking for any Corl or Corle information. I've been searching for
information on Benjamin Corl, born in the early 1800's who settled in
central Pennsylvania in the 1820's. The only information that I've
gotten from family or locally is that he was from "Chester County". I
went to the LDS Family History Library, and someone had submitted some

Hi everyone,
I am looking for information about Isaac Osman, his wife Elizabeth ?,
their son Jabez Osman b. abt 1740 in Hunterdon, died in abt 1783, his
wife ??, their son Charles Osman, b. Dec 17, 1761 in Hunterdon. Charles
was a veteran of the Revolutionary War. Also, does anyone have any

Carol, You may know that a long article about the TEN EYCK family was
serialized in the "New York Genealogical & Biographical Record" beginning
in volume 63, number 2 (April 1932). It was written by Henry Waterman
George. Your John is mentioned on page 163 as the 6th of the 9 children
of Andries Ten Eyck and Ariaantje Chrispel. Their children were baptized
in the North Branch DRC in Raritan, NY -- Neeltje 1717, Matthew 1720,
Janneke 1722, Petrus 1725, Andries 1727, JOHANNES 1732, Abraham 1735,

gg-grandfather, Benjamin Van Horn. Following is information known
regarding this individual
Benjamin was possibly born 1807 in New Jersy, locaton unknown, son of
Peter Van Horn. He migrated to Michigan about 1848, with his son
Cornelius, who in the 1850 Michigan censes was identified as having been
born in New Jersey.

have my information here at work, but would like to post an outline of what I

William W. Brady born prior to 1800. Had a son named Leonard. Leonard's wife
was Lurie Brady. (Possible maiden name Learine Blake.) Their daughter, Anne
E. Brady was married to Bloomfield Lake. Their daughter, Mary Lake, b. 1884
was my grandmother.
